La Canada Flintridge Personal Training

 The city of La Canada Flintridge has held the title for longest city name for quite some time, until Rancho Santa Margarita was born in the year 2000. Still, La Canada Flintridge remains to be a unique city with some very high-end residential areas that all hold a sometimes spectacular view over Los Angeles (on a clear La Canada Flintridge day). The name La Canada Flintridge comes from 2 communities merging together. One was called La Canada, originating from its original Rancho nature by the Spanish. And the other comes from a US Senator named Frank Flint. The reason its called Flintridge is because La Canada Flintridge is really built on the edge of mountains, where La Canada Flintridge’s neighboring city La Crescenta is referred to as “the balcony of Los Angeles”. Sometimes La Canada Flintridge is just referred to as La Canada, but hardly ever just to ‘Flintridge’ (only by the youth, to make it sound cool). The reason for no hyphen in between the two names is to show harmony between the once separate 2 communities.
